Compatibility & Fit Guide

Case & Sleeve Interference

⚠ Important: The magnetic filter attaches via embedded magnets along the top and side edges of the MacBook lid. Certain cases can interfere:

• Hard-shell clamshell cases: Can compress the magnetic filter edges when closed, potentially deforming the frame over time — use caution
• Tight sleeves: Inserting a MacBook with the filter attached into a tight sleeve may catch and dislodge the filter — remove the filter before using a sleeve
• Recommended: Detach the magnetic filter before closing the MacBook in any snug case or sleeve; the no-adhesive design makes this quick and easy

Bezel & Curved-Edge Notes

• The magnetic filter sits over the display surface and is held by magnetic attraction, not adhesive — it does not bond to the bezel
• A slight overhang or gap at the bezel edge is normal; the filter is sized to the display area, not the full lid
• Do not attempt to bend or flex the filter to conform to curved edges — this may damage the privacy layer
• The filter may affect the FaceTime camera view on some models; remove it for video calls if needed

3. Hold the filter by its edges and align the top edge with the MacBook's top bezel
4. Bring the filter toward the screen — the magnets will click into place automatically

6. To remove: grip a corner tab or edge and pull straight out — no tools needed
7. Store in the included pouch when not in use to prevent scratching the privacy layer
